JECS was established in April 2007 as a 100% owned subsidiary of Hitachi, Ltd. Going back to its roots, Japan Electronic Control Systems Co., Ltd. (abbrev. JECS) with headquarters located in the city of Isesaki in Gunma Prefecture was established in 1973. Although its core technologies are design and production of electronic control units for automobiles, we have experience with highly reliable technologies for automobiles such as software, semiconductors, mechatronics, resin molding, inspection technology and material analysis as peripheral technologies.

Since joining the Hitachi Group in 2002, JECS has provided various products based on the technologies to our customers throughout the entire group of Hitachi, Ltd., which will mark its 100th anniversary in 2010, by strengthening of compliance and pursuing CSR.
